Open Access Policy
The journal adhere to DOAJ’s Definition of Open Access which states that “Open Access” is a catch-all term covering both Gratis and Libre Open Access. For DOAJ, Open Access is only when digital content is freely available online AND user rights and the terms of copyright are defined. The freely available articles increase the number of citations and the rapid promotion of knowledge worldwide. Authors and scholars working in a similar field can benefit from new trends in theory and practice while freely accessing and reading the articles from our journal’s webpage. Thus, the articles published in open-access journals have a higher frequency of citations and more chances of publicity through worldwide internet-based access. Such articles are published rapidly at a low cost, and researchers can get relatively faster access to new knowledge.
The articles published by Archives of Educational Studies (ARES) are available publically and openly without making any payment to the journal. The articles can be accessed in full text anywhere in the world without prior permission from the corresponding author or the journal. Nevertheless, the researchers, scholars, and authors must cite the original author/s of the published articles appropriately.
The journal allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose. Nevertheless, the journal allows the author/s to hold the copyright and to retain publishing rights without restrictions.
